Social Media Asset

I was asked to create this meme for the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) to use during the “16 Days of Activism” campaign period. The 16 Days campaign was initiated by UN Women as a means to “galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world”.  Within the context of social media, CFUW wanted to highlight the idea that sexist language is one of the early steps along a growing continuum of violence towards women. A meme was chosen as the best way to spread the idea across social media platforms. Read more about the United Nation’s campaign by clicking here.
